My aim, when creating the piece was to design a positive vibrant piece of modern interior design.

Originally designed for the interior of Pizza Express Petersfield, I studied, and was inspired by a combination of fashion, graffiti, street art with a mix of 1980s neon colour blocking and 60s mod/ Mary Quant style pop art..

The piece was chosen from many pieces from about 800 artists. I am very proud to be affiliated with IKEA and very much look forward to February 2013 when Kayla London will be on sale world wide''
