  1. I’m excited to share my latest large-scale painting, a vibrant A1 acrylic work that brings together bold colour, silhouette, and a sense of modern fashion-inspired minimalism. This piece represents a continuation of my interest in identity, contrast, and how simple forms can create powerful visual impact.

This artwork is created using high-quality acrylic paint on a professionally framed A1 canvas.

    • A1 size (59.4 x 84.1 cm) allows it to serve as a strong statement piece in any interior.

    • The smooth, solid blocks of colour are balanced by the soft gradients of the shadow layers.

    • The black silhouettes anchor the composition, giving the vibrant neon tones a dramatic contrast.

The piece is ready to hang and works beautifully in modern living spaces, creative studios, offices, or anywhere that benefits from bold, graphic art.

    Themes: Colour, Identity, and Duality

Throughout my recent work, I’ve been exploring the idea of duality — not just between figures, but within individuals. This painting continues that exploration by placing two similar forms against very different emotional palettes.

Are they reflections? Are they opposites?
Are they two people or one identity split between worlds?

I enjoy leaving these interpretations open, allowing viewers to bring their own meaning to the work.

  2. There’s something fascinating about the structure of insects — the symmetry, the segmentation, the almost mechanical precision of their forms. In Geometric Insect Study I, I wanted to explore that idea by translating an organic subject into a controlled, geometric language.

This piece is built entirely from angular planes and faceted shapes, creating an almost origami-like interpretation of an insect form. The result sits somewhere between nature and design — recognisable, but abstracted into something more architectural.

The choice of colour was intentional. The vivid green acts as both a nod to the natural world and a way to amplify contrast against the darker background. It gives the painting a strong visual presence, allowing it to function as a statement piece within a space rather than simply a representation of a subject.

Symmetry plays a key role in the composition. By mirroring forms across a central axis, the structure becomes more deliberate and almost engineered, reinforcing the tension between organic inspiration and constructed design.

This work is part of an ongoing exploration into geometric interpretations of natural forms — a series that looks at how structure, repetition, and simplification can transform familiar subjects into something new.

The painting was created using acrylic on canvas, building up layers of flat colour and sharp edges to maintain clarity in the geometric forms. Each section was carefully planned to ensure balance across the composition while keeping the visual rhythm consistent throughout.

Geometric Insect Study I is intended to sit comfortably in modern interiors, creative workspaces, or collections that lean toward contemporary abstraction. It’s a piece that rewards both distance and close inspection — bold from afar, but detailed and structured up close.
